Selected works from 2021-2022.

BELLADONNA`S DREAM is an installation work where Eeva-Marja Saarinen studied the most toxic plants in the world, and how in some cultures they were used as medicine for their healing properties. The work is based on duality and a choice of morale we all have as humans when it comes to power.

MATRIARCH is a commissioned mural work in Jyväskylä, Finland. It is based on the Finnish national epic Kalevala, and looks into the story with a contemporary female perspective.

The work needed to be repainted after a construction mistake occurred in the building. The wall was rebuilt successfully and the piece was beautifully restored by Saarinen`s team in 2026.
