About the original artwork:
Poikanen (Baby bird) is one of the two smallest paintings I created into my Birds - series in 2024. This painting is a little bit different compared to the other artworks in the series as the human figure is replaced by a mother bird teaching her baby how to fly. In this painting I have hidden other birds as well to symbolise the delicate messages of animals, sensitivity and longing for nature. This artwork was the last one I created in the Birds - series, and it is a 20 cm x 20 cm sized acrylic painting. Poikanen is living it`s new life today in a private collection in Finland.
